The gloves' simple, yet user-friendly design, has earned the Agloves several prestigious accolades such as:
Agloves are the brainchild of Jennifer and Jean Spencer, a mother-daughter team who realized the need for touchscreen gloves during the winter of 2010 while struggling to use their iPhones in the cold.
"We just weren't willing to answer our phones with our noses anymore," reflects Jennifer Spencer, the company's CEO and President.
Agloves work on all capacitive touchscreen devices. The secret to the tech-savvy gloves is in the actual silver. That's right, the gloves are made with real silver. Manfucturers knit silver-nylon thread throughout the glove which results in the gloves' ability to conduct the body's naturally producing bio-electricity across the glove membrane. Capacitive touchscreens need a conductive substance to function, but wikipedia explains it better than us.
